Onboarding

This page covers the process of becoming a supplier on the Energy Substantiation platform.

Overview

The onboarding process involves three parties:

  1. Mobius - Handles paperwork and agreements
  2. Independent Custodian - Audits your operation and determines your capacity
  3. EnSub - Creates your account on the platform

Step 1: Mobius Partnership

EnSub works with Mobius, our supplier partner, to manage the initial setup process.

Mobius handles:

  • Legal agreements and contracts
  • Documentation collection
  • KYC/AML requirements
  • Initial paperwork coordination

Contact Mobius to begin the onboarding process.

Step 2: Custodian Audit

An independent custodian audits your operation to determine your capacity on the platform.

Supplier Evaluation

  • Company background and history
  • Operational capabilities
  • Management and governance

Commodity Assessment

  • Available commodities for tokenization
  • Storage and custody arrangements
  • Delivery capabilities
  • Volume and capacity

Financial Review

  • Financial statements
  • Creditworthiness assessment
  • Risk evaluation

Capacity Determination

Based on the audit, the custodian determines your maximum capacity—the most you can offer at auction. This becomes your limit on the platform.

Step 3: Account Setup

After the custodian approves you:

  1. Account Created - Your supplier account is created on the platform
  2. Capacity Assigned - You receive a capacity limit based on the audit
  3. Locations Configured - Your commodity locations are set up
  4. Access Granted - You receive login credentials

Step 4: Ready to Trade

Once your account is active, you can:

  • Create offer orders to sell commodities/receipts
  • Participate in daily auctions
  • Monitor fills and settlements
  • Manage your capacity

Capacity Limits

Your assigned capacity determines the maximum token obligations you can have outstanding:

Available Capacity = Max Capacity - |Current Obligations|

Capacity can be adjusted over time based on:

  • Performance history
  • Financial updates
  • Additional audits
